Well all I can say is the carpet is disgusting food everywhere. As for cleaning tables using a damp cloth no spray is bad and than seeing all the old food sat on the chairs. When cleaning table I thought you clear it all and then lay clean new cutlery not just put back the cutlery from before that the kids had played with. On the plus side the Abbott's Ale was nice food was not Great. Will not be going again only went as we knew it had a indoor play area.

Great place for a decently large meal at a good price. I had chicken and bacon salad. It had a boiled egg and potato salad, coleslaw and lots of tomato, cucumber lettuce plus lots of bacon and chicken. My nephews had burgers and as late teens they need feeding up. They ordered extra chips and couldn't eat them. And the puddings......Well, what can I say. A cake away and the biggest puddings u ever saw.

Visited at 3pm on Friday afternoon. Ordering was fast, and the food came quickly. Very nice burgers, well worth the money. I'm only dropping a star because the table we sat at was filthy, and the guy who cleaned it only wiped half way.

Recommended! Although the queues looked long, the staff were really efficient at what was obviously a busy time and we were served more speedily than I anticipated. We had the standard carvery. It was delicious, there were plenty of options and plenty of food. It was all well cooked. The food and the service were fab. We will be returning.

A chain pub that caters very well for families, but sufficiently large that you can usually find a quieter spot if desired. The carvery is very good and they have very large cake options, though with excessive amounts of cream and icing.I actually had the curried chicken skewers which were better than I was anticipating.Overall decent food at a good price.
