A really good bunch - they aligned the wheels on my Mini and sold me a great deal (120 for two years of wheel balancing - you just come back whenever you like and they stamp a little book each time) so I couldn't be happier. The branch manager, Dan, is a top bloke and the waiting times are very reasonable considering that customers are turning up without appointments all the time. You can get cheaper wheel balancing and cheaper tyres - everyone knows that - but I don't like driving on cheap rubber and none of the cheaper places use the high-tech alignment kit. (There's also free tea and coffee and a warm place to sit and wait!)
Had 4 tyres and wheel alignment today.Staff was pleasant and done a great job... Was afraid of the wheel alignment cos I've had some unpleasant experiences with ATS and others where they had no idea what they doing but the guys from Kwik Fit done a great job. Will go back to them and at the same time recommend.
Had an appointment for 12.30. Finally got my car seen at around 13.15. Little point in the appointment! I left at at 13.45 having had my wheels aligned. 1.15 for a 15 minute task. Pricing is interesting, there is no price on the web but was told that it was around 120 - ATS are 69.99. Fortunately I checked this beforehand but had expected pricing to be similar. They matched the price when I pointed this out. After leaving it became clear the steering wheel had not been aligned with the wheels so I needed to return. I found some time later in the week and got to the centre first thing. The person serving didnt really care that I had to return as the job was not done properly in the first place and told me Id need to wait about 1.30 hours, time I didnt have. I wasnt too upset that it hadnt been done properly, these things happen but after the appointment that never was, the crazy pricing and then complete lack of care when I returned have confirmed that i will not return. This is not the first time this place have let me down.I got the steering fixed by booking the first appointment of the day and making sure I was waiting outside before the place opened. The issue was fixed quickly and without further issue.The mobile tyre fitting on the other hand is great and also cost effective. I will continue with this.
