You wouldn't say, that's only two stars hotel. Very nice and clean.
Stayed here a couple of times now. Simple rooms but very clean everywhere and great helpful staff. I suggest for you to upgrade for breakfast which is across the road at the sister hotel and is delicious.
A good place if you are looking lodge rather than enjoying the stay.
Good stay at this hotel. It's slightly odd checking in at a coffee shop but it mostly works. The breakfast is perhaps not as varied or as generous as a buffet style hotel breakfast but it kept me fed until lunch. The access to the rooms is through an automatic door which is fine but arguably is open for much too long on each activation (easy for the unwelcome to gain entry. The room felt quite modern and the bed/pillow were adequate. The shower was nice and powerful but you need to watch water getting all over the floor. The soap is in nice big dispensers (but unfortunately the flow rate was annoyingly slow for actually using to shower).
Stayed here for work on Thursday night 11/10/18. I was very pleased with the room. The bathroom was great and the power shower was one of the best I have had in a while. Only downside was that the door on the shower was leaking which caused the bathroom floor to flood. I informed the receptionist of the issue in the morning when I departed. My evening meal allowance allowed me to use it across in the Aztec Spa Hotel which is the sister hotel to the Lodge. The food was ok but a little expensive for what you get.I also had a breakfast voucher which allowed me to choose a number of items from the Starbucks next door to the Lodge which also forms part of the reception. I would highly recommend the Lodge for anyone in the area for business or leisure. Its a lot cheaper than the Aztec and you can use all the facilities there if you please. Will certainly look out for this again if available.
