Lovely room. Ate in the restaurant staff very friendly and helpful. Nice glass of wine with my very tasty meal. Only issue rude couple next door very noisy below my window at 2am then loud when walking down the please be quiet corridor!!! Apart from them lovely stay. Not far to city centre etc. Free parking!
Absolutely amazing experience, espessially with Tina the manager who dealt with us in a brilliant, cheerful and caring way. Also Adam on the reception desk sorted our rooms with great professionalism and we was in bed in no time. I would recommend staying there over any place in Bristol. BIG THUMBS UP FROM US!
Friendly staff including to canine companions! Nice new lodge in great condition, comfortable beds. Pretty good insulation from noise from the outside, but not so good from the inside. However, excellent value and nothing at the price we paid comes even remotely close.
Stayed here a few times and have been happy Every time. Breakfast is fab and you got a Costa and subway next door. This is modern and plenty of parking
A mixed bag for me. Room was clean, there was sufficient parking and the staff were polite. However, the food was painfully mediocre. I got the feeling there was a 17 year old microwaving the evening meals out the back. My company had paid for a two night stay, with breakfast, but I didn't bother with it on the second day, and I'm normally the kind of guy who can eat his own body weight at a breakfast buffet. It wasn't awful, except the orange juice which was undrinkable, but just painfully mediocre. If I'd been paying the bill, I'd have wanted the cost of the breakfast back. The bar is tiny, with no draft lagers so it's 4 for a bottled lager or 8 a pint. The shower had a curtain, rather than a screen, which I hadn't seen in a while, so you've got that trying to wrap itself around you as you shower.
