I think this hotel needs updating. Lovely staff and services but the layout of the rooms is very old. Plug sockets were on the opposite side of the room away from the bed. TV was very small, old and not very loud. The walls are REALLY thin too. People walking down the corridor outside was very distracting and guests didn't have to be loud to hear them. What was really disappointing was that I could hear a couple having sex in what sounded like above me but one room across. I wouldn't have been happy at all if I was sharing with family or younger members. I could be wrong but I think the building use to be offices and the sound proofing (or lack of) shows for it. Really needs updating and would be lovely after that.
No open windows, so bad smell rooms. Having headaches because no air at all.. AC seems doesn't work properly. Food in restaurant is awful. The only good thing is friendly staff and free parking
Very friendly Staff. Room was very nice, bed nice and comfortable, Shower was amazing powerful and nice temperature. Twinned with a Thyme Bar & Grill food was good nice hot and dessert was lovely. Waitress nice and friendly. Will be back in the future.
The best premier Inn I've ever stayed in! All the staff were happy and helpful, the whole building was clean and tidy, the room was immaculate and the food in the restaurant was top nosh! My family and I stopped here to break up the drive to Newquay. For a premier Inn so close to the motorway it was amazing! If I could give it 10 stars I would!
Not the usual Premier standard. Room smells, possibly damp, paint peeling off the walls, no hot water indicators on the taps, no hot water either, heater unit is very loud. Car park spaces are on the small side and 3 quid parking fee. TV is small in the room. Breakfast is cheaper in the Redwood Farm Pub, next door. Also carvery in there looks good and at a good price.
